Pea protein powder is widely used in food and nutrition products. It is a fine powder with good nutritional value, but its sticky characteristics can make screening more difficult. Fine particles may stick to the screen mesh and cause clogging during continuous screening.

To evaluate the screening performance, a customer sent us 10 kg of pea protein powder for a screening test. After checking the material, we found that its sticky properties required an effective screen cleaning solution. We therefore equipped the machine with an ultrasonic system to help keep the screen mesh clean during operation.

For the test, we used a 1200 mm rotary vibrating screen with one layer of 80-mesh screen. We fed all 10 kg of pea protein powder into the machine and observed the screening process closely.

The test was completed in about 40 seconds. Based on this result, the estimated screening capacity can reach around 900 kg/h on one machine under the same test conditions.

The test shows that an ultrasonic vibrating screen can provide an effective solution for screening fine and sticky powders such as pea protein powder. The ultrasonic system helps reduce mesh clogging and supports stable screening performance.
