Precision Sieving of High Purity Crystalline Silicon with Tumbler Screen

High purity crystalline silicon is widely used in solar panels, semiconductors, and electronics. To meet strict quality standards, the silicon must be sorted by size before use. At Karp Machinery, we helped a client improve their production by providing a customized tumbler screen for sieving high purity silicon.

Tumbler screens are ideal for handling fine, fragile, or abrasive materials. The gentle, multi-dimensional movement of the tumbler screen reduces material damage while improving sieving accuracy. We used stainless steel (SS304 or SS316) for all parts that touch the material. The screen surface is smooth and easy to clean. To stop dust and static, we added silicone seals and an optional anti-static system. This makes the machine safe and clean for industrial use.

Our tumbler screens can be designed with 1 to 5 layers, allowing separation into multiple particle size grades in a single pass. Outlet configurations, machine diameter, and discharge heights can be fully customized to integrate with your current production line or automated conveying systems.
